You may know me best for my portrait work of children and families but I dabble a bit on the side with boudoir and men fashion photography. There is something so invigorating when working with a team of other creative individuals, whether a wardrobe stylist or hair & makeup artist, PLUS a willing model who takes direction rather than running in the opposite direction of you across a sunlit field. I literally become giddy and lost for words when everything comes together. If you are one of those people you know how verklempt and excited I get when shooting! 😉 Most recently I teamed up with one of my good friends and uber talented hair & make up artist, Gary Croteau of Salon Mario Russo, for the annual Oribe Backstage Inspiration Challenge. Our theme was a 50’s/60’s housewife and as the shoot went on the more our model, Christine, became the very part of the beautiful, doting but somewhat unhappy wife. The home we shot in was a time capsule and the perfect backdrop for this retro shoot. With hundreds of submissions and thousands of votes we came in 5th place! Not too shabby. I foresee many more shoots like these in my future!! Enjoy!
Michelle Henrick - 5th place…definitely not shabby. well done.
Taryn Boyd - holy crapola! I love these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rachael - I love every bit of this. Lovely work!
Natalie Clayshulte - I love the Mad Men vibe — the pictures are so sensual and rich.
Andrea - This whole shoot is gorgeous and your model is stunning. I have an idea for a shoot that requires a similar kind of house – how did you find this location?
