Bellini Portraits » Bellini Portraits : Boston Newborn Photographer, Boston Children's Photographer, Boston Family Photographer, Boston Maternity Photographer

From babies to boudoir.  I cover all the bases!  It may seem like a big leap from one category to next but the common thread is just to generate beautiful images for you.  Give me a window with sunlight streaming through and I will create magic!  I am going to post this session in a few different blog posts because there is a lot of awesomeness to go around.  So we’ll start with this Canadian beauty’s first set of images…..white.

  • March 22, 2012 - 8:23 pm

Diana - I think I would feel totally conscious to have these type of photos done of myself considering I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera fully dressed, lol, but if I ever get them done, I would like you to be the photographer. I think you are so amazing that you would even make me look good. 🙂

Angela Louise - Definitely my fave of your boudoir sessions….oozes style and grace. Just beautiful xx

Evelyn Violet, 7 days old and such a little cutie.  I photographed her big brother 3 years ago for his newborn shoot.  Like big bro, it took some time for Evelyn to settle in but one she did, she did beautifully!  These were shot in my home in Bridgewater.  If you ever in doubt that your home has enough natural light for your newborn shoot, you have the option of doing it here.  Reminder for expectant moms to book before the baby is born to ensure we get you in my calendar while the baby is about 5-10 days old and the max 14.  Thanks and enjoy!  xoxo

It’s been a flurry of newborn shoots these days!  Meet Nolan, 11 days old.  Such an unbelievably beautiful baby!  He traveled all the way from St. Thomas in his mama’s belly to be born here in the states.  They will be traveling back as soon as the doc gives him the ok to fly and I’m so happy I got the chance to meet this sweet baby and his equally sweet mama!  Enjoy!

Schiavonn - The thumb is killing me. Did he do that on his own? Absolutely precious!

I am so happy to be starting this week feeling well.  It was 19 long days of being sick.  It made its way through the house and then back around to me.  I canceled WPPI, had to postpone a few newborn shoots, reschedule a commercial shoot…..just awful.  Apropos that the sun is shining and although it feels brisk and very much like winter today, I am getting the springtime bug and I cannot wait for outdoor shoots and the warm weather.  After my oldest got on the bus, my littlest was in my office playing with a new shelf I purchased at Homegoods.  Since I haven’t hung it–procrastinator that I am–he, as if asking to be photographed, starting peeking through the boxes and I grabbed my camera.  All it took was 3 minutes.  So when you think you may not have time, think again.  Often the most precious moments are the most fleeting.  Happy Monday!

  • March 5, 2012 - 5:14 pm

LIZ L. - I can’t believe that’s not a formal shoot! So sweet. How is it that your little guy is always dressed so well, not even a speck of paint on pants or shirt, and NO food on his face?! Wish I knew the secret…

  • March 6, 2012 - 1:33 pm

Natalie Clayshulte - Definitely 3 minutes well spent. Beautiful images of your little guy!

  • March 7, 2012 - 9:45 am

    Stacy - That last one……oh my……so…stinking….cute!!!!

  • March 11, 2012 - 9:37 pm

Schiavonn - He is beyond adorable. His eyes melt my heart and I love his swoop hair. (that’s what my four year old calls wavy hair ;0 ) ) If you don’t mind my asking, where did you get the shirt that he is wearing? I love it!
And you’re right, it only takes a few minutes to capture the best moments.

I had the pleasure of photographing BayState Parent Magazine’s February prom spread back in January.  I really enjoyed concepting the shoot; playing a little bit art director, a little bit stylist and, of course, photographer!  My idea was to take prom in the vintage direction as everything  these days, especially weddings, seems to have some vintage flair.  What is old is new again!  I’ve included a video of a behind the scenes peek at this session below.  Enjoy!
