I had such a blast working on my most recent shoot for Baystate Parent Magazine’s October issue. The theme was plainly “kids fall fashion” but I wanted to make it special by using real siblings for the shoot of the new vera pelle bags. It was fun going through all of my submissions I received after sending out word on my Facebook business page of my casting needs. There are so many more siblings I wish I could have used!! So, thank you to all who sent in images of your beautiful children–I hope to have something for them very soon! The location was perfect–an old warehouse building with loads of light and dusty wood floors. With the help of sisters Jen & Christine of Epiphany Kids Boutique in Nortgborough we came up with 3 different types of looks; a more classical look for our sisters Liv & Mia, a bright and fun look for Luke & Laela, and then a hipster look for brothers Eamon and Aaron. I asked Molly of Little Goodall to supply some of her adorable coats as I thought they were very apropos being that they could even be used as part of a Halloween costume. I’ve loved her coats for some time now–I even did a shoot with my son in early 2011 for Molly. You can see that here! I don’t know if the kids enjoyed modeling more or the fact that they got to miss a little school to be on the shoot with me! Either way we all had a fabulous time. Enjoy! xoxo
Lisa - I always love looking at your pictures… They are beautiful! Wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing the lens you used for these? Prime? What f-stop? Thanks!
Natalie Clayshulte - Adorable! I especially love the fox hooded hats!
