I had hoped to post this yesterday but my house was full of family and lots of cheer and I never made it to my computer. I wanted to wish all of my clients, Facebook and blog friends a Happy Holiday! With that, I’d like to share 0ur 2010 family Christmas card and images from the session. I had a fabulous concept to get both of my boys on a vintage iron bed with a string of christmas lights in the shape of a sail. I came up with the idea after seeing Ernie & Bert’s Great Adventure; the bed flies with a white sail, combined with an image I found in an old Cookie magazine photo of a beat up old sailboat with Christmas lights along it’s sides. I kept this idea top secret for months and finally did the shoot 14 days before Christmas. Nothing like waiting ’til the last minute!! It didn’t go as well as I had hoped and never got a great shot of both boys on the bed so it didn’t make it to the front of the card [sigh]. Oh well. Sometimes things don’t work out as you plan, no matter how hard you try. 🙂 I hope you all enjoyed time with the people you hold closest to your hearts. xoxoxo
