Oh come let us adore him!
Happy New Year to all my friends, family, clients and those who landed her on my blog. Like most holiday seasons, this one seemed to come and go in a flash. While I’m a little sad to start taking down all of our holiday decorations I have to say I’m ready to get back to routine. These early winter months give me time to focus more clearly on the back end of my business. April will mark my THIRTEEN years as a full time professional photographer. I don’t typically make resolutions but creatively I hope to push msyelf even further, to not be afraid of doing things that challenge me. Clearly the weekly blogging didn’t work out for me too well last year and instead of beating myself up I will just chisel away at the mountain of beautiful galleries one by one.
I thought I’d start with this newborn session which took place during Christmastime 2018. I loved all of the natural light, the neutral furnishings but even more the special moment I had with their daughter at her vanity. Very reminiscent of Clara from the Nutrcracker! As you can see my newborn sessions are purely lifestyle. This is a more unique and relaxed approach and will give you the flexibility of shooting within the first one-four weeks after the baby is born. When baby needs a feeding or a diaper change I will focus on siblings and/or lifestlye elements during that time.
