What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice and everything nice, of course!  This is Jamie & Chloe–part of the 3% of naturally occurring fraternal twins…I just looked it up :-).  What a surprise for Mom & Dad!  They were born 3 weeks early and turned 5 weeks today.  So does that really just make ’em 2 weeks old?!  ha.  They sure showed their different personalities today–Jamie, the bigger of the twins, was much more relaxed and just went with the flow.  Chloe, on the other hand, was willful!  It’s fun to see that even at this tender age they are very different people.  Something amazing happened when I postitioned them together, Chloe up against Jamie’s back.  I took Chloe’s hand and wrapped it around her sister’s shoulder and took Jamie’s hand and brought it towards Chloe’s.  Their hands met each other, almost searching for one another, and then they both smiled at different times.  Amazing.  Here are some shots from today.

Michael & John - Black and white shots of the girls holding hands are awesome…how do we get a copy to frame?

Wendie - These are so precious! I have a twin sister who is my best friend. Seeing pictures of twin girls gets me every time. Makes me think of the two of us and the close bond we have always shared. I hope these little ones are just as close growing up.

Eileen Broderick - Steph–these are so sweet! The two shots of them smiling as they held hands just brought tears to my eyes…So touching.

One of my best friends and her two sons came to visit last week.  It was so great to have our boys together again–this year just a little bit older and really able to play together.  I hadn’t seen her youngest since he was newborn and I went down for a visit and a photo shoot.  Andrea’s seen me through it all–back in my college days when I thought I was so cool with my camera submitting her and another friend through silly photo shoots, using my halogen light as my “light”.  Oh boy.  Anyway, I couldn’t wait to get both the boys back in front of the camera.  I had to wait to post these because I surprised her with some prints and storyboards for her birthday but here they are!  Hope you had a WONDERFUL birthday, A!  I love you!!

Nana Joyce - Stephanie, these are all wonderful. Aidan and Cole are so cute in their hats and you captured their personalities to a “T”. Loved seeing those infants. Their parents are lucky to have you as a photographer!

I thought this was kinda cool and thought I would share….My mom came to visit during school vacation week and we headed out to Chatham so she could take in some real sea air before heading back to Vermont.  The weather wasn’t on our side that day.  The sun teased and followed us the entire trip and as we pulled up to Lighthouse Beach the first of the many pestering rain drip drops began.  We stayed an hour while my son dug with a spatula (no, a shovel just wasn’t appropriate!) and my mom collected some drift wood.  Both of us, cameras in tow, got some shots of my little man playing in the sand AND she happened to take photos of me in action–donning my coveted Hunter boots (that I wear practically every day and will be so sad to put them aside for the summer, boohoo…)  Anyway here are some shots of G-Man and picture of ME taking his photo.  PS: this was only two weeks ago an it looks freezing…and it was!  Since then it’s been 80 degrees.  And now back to 50’s & 60’s.  Gotta love/hate New England.

I met 6 day old Samantha today.  She lives in a beautiful home on beautiful Cape Cod with her beautiful family.  Top it off with a beautiful day and it just doesn’t get any better than that! 😉  Originally I was scheduled to do this shoot back in December with her siblings, Mia (18 mos) and Matthew (3 yrs), but Mom wanted to wait until this little bun was out of the oven.  I was excited to try out my new stork pouch prop and figured that a mom with 3 kids would be up for anything–and she was!  Suspend the baby in mid-air??  Sure, why not! 🙂  Here are my fav’s from today–enjoy!!

Are you gonna get sick of me if I tell you I had another gorgeous newborn to photograph?  Well I can’t help it…I did!  This little guy was just under 7 pounds when we was born 6 days ago.  Oh, he has such a perfect little face.  So pristine and angelic.  A lot of my clients comment that I have the best job and they are SO right!  I absolutely do and feel so lucky (not to mention excited!) on every shoot.  The shoot was in Boston and it was a treat to see all the Dogwoods and Magnolia’s in bloom–stunnnnning!!  Here are some of my favorite shots from today–though there are many, many more…so many smiley shots (sigh…heart goes pitter-patter).
