Bellini Portraits » Bellini Portraits : Boston Newborn Photographer, Boston Children's Photographer, Boston Family Photographer, Boston Maternity Photographer

I had an extended family shoot this afternoon–all gathered to help celebrate their parents’ 40th anniversary.  They came with their own families which included 7 children total ranging from 11 to 6 months.  Since I’m not always that great with names (sorry!) I memorized their names according to their ages and, whatdya know, I had em down perfectly when I arrived.  Well, close enough 😉  As I was leaving I realized that their names were all so befitting.  We had the real camera lover, the helper, the super shy one, the quiet/funny one, the graceful one, the sweet one and the baby one.  I just adore photographing children and how they get so tickled by having their picture taken.  So while this shoot was mainly to get a group photo I just had to share the portraits of the little ones.  Enjoy!

Tammi Nowack Photography - These are great- I love the vintagey/gap-ish feel to them. 🙂
The piled up hats are so cute and I love that little tricycle. Nice work!

I just love my repeat clients.  It’s then that you know that you really gave them something that they treasure, value and truly respect.  I was lucky to photograph this little cutie last June when she was just 7 months old.  What’s fun is to bring old props back that I’ve used on prior shoots to show how my little models have grown.  We did a shoot in a Lily Of The Valley patch in their front yard last year so I thought I’d bring back the old white tub again.  She was a little apprehensive at first but once we finally got the bubble wands to work she was entertained, if but only briefly.  What she did adore was my antique doll carriage–as almost all little girls do.  Even my 3 year old son loves pushin’ that thing around!  Well, superwoman that I am, I’ve managed to get this edited during my son’s nap so lucky for this family they don’t have to wait to long to get their sneak peak today.  Enjoy!!

Tim - these are freaking amazing!

While I’ve done a few senior sessions over the years, I knew that I could really use some guidance and inspiration.  It’s becoming a huge market and I thought I should sharpen my skills.  I took a workshop in Missouri in June and these lovely ladies offered up their services to the group of photographers who traveled from the south, east coast, you name it.   I don’t know what’s happened over the years since I was in high school but I don’t remember girls looking this fashionable!  I thought the Champion sweatshirt with the white turtleneck was the cool look.  Obviously times have changed–thankfully!  I’m finally getting these posted…it’s been a very busy summer thus far but while I sit here on vacation I figured now’s as good a time as any!  Hope you enjoy!

Today I finished the last of a series of portrait sessions with this little guy.  I met him when he was just weeks old, then at his 9 month mark and again this morning for his 12 month session.  It is so amazing to watch my little clients grow!  I feel so blessed to be part of it all.  We decided to go for the early morning session versus the late evening session since the a.m. is when Harry is at his best.  He’s a morning person, just like me.  Not sure Mom & Dad were all that into it since my “early” sessions start at 7am AND they are on vacation.  Oy 🙂  Anyway, we met at their rental and then headed to Nauset Beach on the outer Cape.  Seriously beautiful–very few people, dunes, see grass, crashing waves and even a little group of children violin players!  I’m hoping this isn’t really our last session but I have a feeling I’ll be seeing them again real soon. 🙂  Here’s a peek!

I called my client this morning on my way to Boston to go over some logistics for our newborn shoot.  I realized that her name wasn’t revealed once the family emailed to let me know that she had finally arrived on July 1st.  I was so surprised to hear her name…which is my son’s name…and the best name in the entire world!  Proud mama here, what can I say 🙂  Anyway, my hope 3 years ago and still is that the name doesn’t become too popular—but time will tell.  My gut tells me it’s gonna spread like the “Aidan” wildfire!  Anyway, this 5 day old little beauty was conked out in her grandmother’s arms when I arrived at their lovely Beacon Hill abode; beautifully appointed and a shag rug to die for.  I WILL be getting that for our new house, for sure!  I have to say that this new mom was the most laid back 1st time mommy I’ve ever worked with–I might add that she also climbed Kilimanjaro last year as well.  Pretty impressive.  The little one took some time falling into a deep sleep over the 3 hours I spent with her but she did finally go into the “drunk on breast milk” stage and I managed some great propped shots!  Here’s a peak!
