Bellini Portraits » Bellini Portraits : Boston Newborn Photographer, Boston Children's Photographer, Boston Family Photographer, Boston Maternity Photographer

Yes, I have it.  I’m green with envy, folks.  Maybe it’s a purely a case of “everything’s greener on the other side” but the locations out west and far south are just ta-die-for!  My brother lived in Texas for a couple of years, just outside of Austin.  Being the burgeoning photographer that he is, he’s taken some pretty cool landscape and nature shots recently and sent ’em off to big sister to have a look-see.  The “bones” of the photos were solid already but I decided I couldn’t keep my photoshoppin’ fingers off them. 🙂  This shot I have always loved and really wished I lived near to use as a shooting location.  It is incredible.  So all of you who live deep in the heart of Texas, I am sticking my tongue out at you!!  Or maybe you could just invite me down and we could have some fun shooting together.  Now there’s a thought!  Paired with this image is a shot of my own taken during a local photographer’s meet up in Carlisle, MA.  I think they look pretty great together.  The model is the daughter or a very talented photog out of Finland.  If you would be interested in purchasing this or any other landscape shot from my little bro, just shoot me an email. 🙂

Morning arrives.  I sneak back up to my bed to capture some quiet moments with my youngest.  He is so responsive now that all I need to do is whisper a sing-songy, “baby…” and his eyes and mouth flutter a smile emerges.  Heart melting.  Happy Tuesday!

Here’s a look at a full session with our little darling Oliviah.  A typical session with one child will generate ~ 30 images, sibling sessions double that and newborn sessions anywhere between 20-25 depending on how sleepy they decide they will be for me on that given day!

Enjoy and have a great weekend!!

Leslie - Such a beautiful little girl! I LOVE every single image…her personality shows in each one of them!

I’m back to work!!!  I’m so excited and it feels so great to be back shooting for my clients.  This 1 year birthday session was slated at the beginning of February but a few things got in the way including my son having a mild case of the croup (insert seal bark here).  I was a bit disappointed to wake up to gray skies today considering the past two days were unbelievably beautiful and warm and to hear that the next 5 days or so are expected to be utterly miserable was just down right depressing!  Normally gray days might interfere with shoots, even an indoor one, but having shot at this gorgeous old colonial before I knew I had super large windows to let in as much light as possible.  Hence, we did not have to push the shoot again.  I did Oliviah’s newborn shoot last February and  6 month shoot over the summer.  If you follow my blog you might recognize this little beauty.  She is a dream to photograph.  Super smiley and just cheek-pinching adorable.  She just gets more beautiful every time I see here.  I’m doing a large sneak peak tonight because a) I just loved so many and b) I can’t think of another reason not to.  🙂  Enjoy!

It’s already February 22nd.  I always love how fast this month flies by.  It means we are that much closer to spring.  The birds chirping gives me a happy feeling inside.  As if they really know the inside scoop and it’s not a big tease and we WILL see consistently warmer weather!  So here are some spring-y images that will hopefully make you happy.  Have a good Monday.
