Meet Cooper.  I was scheduled to do his session mid-June but he decided to really surprise mom and dad and made an appearance 6 weeks early!  Even though he’s a preemie, he was still a good size at 2+ weeks today weighing in at 6 lbs 11 oz.  Maybe it’s a good thing he came early!! 😉  He was a total dream.  He slept the entire time all the while making his signature squeeks and grunts.  Lucky for us the weather was fabulous so even though I wasn’t able to get my outdoor shots with the newborn session on Monday, I was able to get out there today and I am soooo happy we did.  Another big thanks to my mom who is always on the look-out for great props for me (the rocking duck rules!).  Enjoy! xo

So tiny, so perfect.  I loved her hair, all the baby fuzz and her perfect little lips.  She slept on and off in between feedings and changes and never fussed much from all the maneuvering I attempted.  I had hoped to take her outdoors today since the weather was just right but after about 3 1/2 hours she decided that her session was over 🙂  I hope she finally got some sound sleep this afternoon!  This summer I hope to do more environmental newborn shoots–taking it out to nature!  I’ve got lots of ideas and all the props to back ’em up so if you’re pregnant, give me a ring and let’s set something up!  Enjoy! xo

Well, really it’s still a month away but I was able to get down to the beach house for the first beach session of the season.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day, so much so I didn’t even mind treading through (usually) chilly Cape Cod water.  It wasn’t my first time meeting my clients.  I did a session with their son when he was 10 months old, so just about two years ago.  Mom is due with baby boy #2 in July and I hope to be seeing them then as well 😉  I think “A” had a blast; from the rowboat, to the sandy pointe, from riding a vintage trike to blowing bubbles and playing airplane with dad.  I hope you guys had fun too.  Great to see you again.  Enjoy!  xo

Becky Earl - Girl, these are so classic feeling. I just love coming to your blog my friend. Gorgeous artwork all around. LOVES!!!

I’m like a kid in a candy store.  I get so excited with every shoot that the first thing I do when I get home is insert my CF cards and download my images.  Ok, so maybe I hug and kiss my kids first but when they’re napping, I’m off to start editing images!  So here we are at 3 in the afternoon and I have my blog post ready from my session this a.m. in Boston.  Call me obsessed, call me a nut–but I just know it’s because I absolutely love what I do.  Today I met Lila; 7 months old, big blue eyes and loves to roll.  Front to back, back to front and front to back again 🙂  It was a gorgeous day so we decided to get out to their lovely garden for a few shots at the end.  So happy we did!  It was great to meet you and I can’t wait to meet your spunky, beautiful big sis soon!  xo

I feel really blessed to have such an amazing relationship with my mother.  I can talk to her about ANYTHING.  Yes–anything.  We laugh together, cry together, drive around aimlessly together just so we can be together.  She is a rock, my confidant, and loves me unconditionally.  My children adore her and that makes my heart sing.  Again, mom, Happy Mother’s Day!
