Kara May - Gorgeous – love your perspective too. Beautiful work!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love a lens more (the 50mm 1.2 L), I rented the 85mm 1.2 L and tried it out this weekend.  (insert sound of jaw dropping and hitting floor here).  Wow.  The creaminess of the bokeh is so delicious I just want to sop it all up and devour it.  The sugar?  Well, that’s my sweet little model I have the pleasure of photographing every year.  She is growing up before our eyes and just gets more and more beautiful each time I see her.  Needless to say, it’ll be hard to let this rental go but I will be buying it asap.  I hope the 50 doesn’t get too jealous. 😉  Lovin’ the rainbow sunflare on the last shot and, nope, it wasn’t photoshopped in.  There was very, very little done to these images other than converting to b&w and a minimal antique effect on the last.  Hope you had a great weekend!! xo

I adore this shot!!

um, yeah. beyond.

Yvonne - Nice! That is a dreamy lens!!!!

Meet Jake.  His mom said he liked to fish so I decided to finally utilize the beautiful lake we practically live on.  It was foggy this morning.  REALLY foggy.  I was worried a bit too foggy to start but truthfully it was perfect.  By the time we went over clothing choices and headed over, the fog had lifted a bit leaving a grey blanket around the lake.  It was still and serene–so beautiful!  By the time we finished playing in the water the sun broke out and then we headed to my favorite field.  We had a blast and thankfully I had enough “stuff” to keep Jake engaged and giddy.  Enjoy! xox

Kristyn - These pictures are gorgeous, your work is amazing. Love Love Love the fishing shot. This little guy gives me a glimpse of what my boy may look like in a few years, a blonde cutie 🙂

Meet Elise, soon to be 3, and her little sis Violet, 10 months.  I met Elise back in 2008 when she, herself, was just a little nugget of 9 or 10 months old.  She was SUCH a beautiful baby and she has turned into as sweet a girl as she is still beautiful.  So sweet and polite, that kind little voice kept saying, “thank you ms. stephanie….”. Oh, I could just eat her up!  And Violet?  What a doll!  Those cheeks, those two little bottom teeth, her timeless blue gingham dress!  Perfection.  And it was one of those nights when everything became perfection.  From my crafty bunting (ahem, thank you very much!), the gorgeous light, the lemonade stand, the juicy red cherries….I’m lovin’ all the images so it was really hard for me to narrow ’em down for the blog sneak peek.  If I posted anymore I’d have the whole stinkin’ session up!  So, before I fall asleep at my computer, here are today’s fav pics! Enjoy! xo
