Some shots from Easton’s Beach, aka 1st Beach.  It was rough the day we went.  Not ideal for the little guy but my big guy (husband) loved it.  Top it off with a Del’s frozen lemonade and lobster roll–you know the kind with the grilled buttered roll, sooo good–and it’s a perfect beach outing.  There is an old carousel, bumper boats, playground and a small water slide so it’s perfect for families.

Natalie Clayshulte - These pictures are making me want to plan a trip to the east coast! Sounds like you’re having a great time.

Kara May - How fun!! I wanna be there now! Beautiful area, gorgeous photos!

Here we are–our third annual vacation in Newport, RI.  Our rental is actually in Middletown but we are just under 2 miles to Thames Street and within walking distance to Easton’s Beach and 2nd & 3rd Beach.  We love our rental-it is spacious, has a big beautiful yard and wrap around porch and the interiors are gorgeous.  My friend came for an overnight with her 3 year old son and we got trapped inside all day yesterday because it was raining sideways.  The storm was intense–I swear lightning must have struck just a block away.  But the rain did finally give way to sunshine and finally a glorious night.  We had dinner at The Clarke Cooke House followed by drinks at 41 North which is always posh and fabulous–albeit very quiet but it was Monday night.  Somewhat of a late night for us and unfortunately our children do not sleep in and we were up at 4:30 and then finally 5:45.  UGH!  They need Early Riser Intervention…anyone got the number?

Here’s a shot of my friend’s son Charlie and my son Grayson, almost 3 and almost 4 respectively.  It is so cute to see them play together.  Of course they have their moments of “mine, mine, mine!” but for the most part they are pals and really enjoy being together.

And finally a couple of shots of my youngest, who just turned 7 months on the 12th of July.

More vaca shots to come all week!  Easton’s Beach and Sweet Berry Farms!

Just over 6 pounds and 8 days old!  Took a bit for her to really settle into the shoot but when she did it was magic!  I have to tell you I love these hot and humid days if only to get my newborn clients outdoors and like baby putty in my hands!  By the time we made it outside she was in heaven!  Bare skin, warm breeze, birds chirping.  I think she could have slept out there all afternoon, but alas, Pasquale arrived to do the landscaping so our outdoor session came to end–beautifully.  I was a pleasure meeting you Andrea and your lovely family!  Enjoy! xo

Sarah - SO, SO cute!! I love the little rose headband, and the little bed is to die for!! Great images!

So where was I…..ah yes, last night’s session with Nayan!  What a love!!  He was all smiles for me, just like our first session together last year.  He certainly made my job easy.  Save for a string of “no’s” (the “no” phase is in full force!!), he was all for my berry and fruit themed shoot.  At this age you need things to keep them focused otherwise they’ll be hither and tither.  Needless to say it was an utter delight once again to spend this time with Nayan and his adorable mommy who is due in December!  Enjoy this delicious session!! xoxo
