Meet Chace. Eight days old and already a handsome little devil.  Not only was he a complete dream to work with today but I have to say that I just love working with this family in general.  I have photographed their daughters 3 times so far in the past 2 years or so.  They are open, inviting, down to earth, personable, pleasant…all that and a bag of chips.  Makes my job even that much more enjoyable.  Thanks for letting me photograph your beautiful baby boy!  Congrats!  xoxo

Matt - Your newborn images are always so clean and refreshing. If you happen to be in or near Dallas around, say, oh I dunno, mid-April of next year, I’m booking a session with you for our soon-to-be new little one.

I was away on vacation with my husband and boys.  Just getting back into the swing of things.  Sorry for being MIA but I decided I wanted to totally unplug from work and decided not to blog while we were away.  As wonderful as vacation is, there is nothing like coming home.  Happy to be back but will definitely miss that warm Florida weather.  xoxo

This sweet little guy and I met last year when was just 3 months old and I was 1 month away from giving birth.  I planned on working right up until my son was born and I practically did when he decided to surprise us 16 days early!  Seems like so long ago but at the same time this past year has just flown by.  So, we met again today–what an absolutely gorgeous October day!  85 degree weather is oddly out of place in New England this far into fall but I am certainly not complaining.  As soon as I got to the field the temperature dropped 10 degrees, the wind started whipping and the ominous clouds rolled in.  I prayed the sky wouldn’t open up on us and thankfully it didn’t.  My beautiful bunting took a beating hanging in the tree but it was all worth it for fab shoot with divine little Devin.   Thanks for making the long drive from the Cape.  Enjoy!! xoxo

Jen - I can’t get enough of your gorgeous work! Loving everything about the feel, quality & creativity!! Such a fan!

I pass these stables every morning.  The hazy light coming from the east filters in and drapes across the white equestrian fences like a blanket.  Each time I pass I want to pull in and say hello to these beautiful beasts.  Well, this morning I passed, turned around and actually pulled in.  No time like the present.  This mare really didn’t think much of me–I barely even got an ear twitch.  Geesh.  So on I went…I did have a very important newborn session scheduled.  When I arrived I was greeted by adorable twin girls adorned in Crewcuts (swoon).  Ms. Alexa was the gregarious of two.  Ms. Dylan was a little apprehensive and a little disenchanted with the whole idea of today’s session. Kinda reminded me of the beautiful mare I met earlier this morning; knowing how charming she really is but wouldn’t really play up to me.  And then it was all about little boy wonder; their new little brother.  Such a sweet little doll.  Makes me really miss having a really tiny baby in the house…sort of. 🙂  Enjoy.  xoxo

Beverly - These are such sweet photos!

More from last night’s session.  The light was just fantastic.  Creeping down beneath the trees, super warm and orangey-yellow.  Made for some gorgeous images with a beautiful family.  For those of you coming from Boston for my portrait sessions, it’s certainly worth the drive.  It’s a 30 mile trip but budget about 45 minutes without traffic.  It’ll seem like you’re a world away!  Family sessions can be tricky–just ask any other portrait photographer out there.  Trying to get everyone looking at the same time can seem near impossible especially with babies and children under 3.  Sometimes you just need to let go and have fun.  Enjoy the moment and just let things flow naturally.  So, when you come for my sessions, just relax and….ENJOY….cuz this is what you’ll get!!  xoxo

totally adore these!
