Bellini Portraits » Bellini Portraits : Boston Newborn Photographer, Boston Children's Photographer, Boston Family Photographer, Boston Maternity Photographer

If you can’t get enough of newborn goodness then you’re in luck!  I had yet another newborn session yesterday with 7 day old Charlotte in beautiful Bay Village–a quaint are of Back Bay/Boston that is full of historic brick row houses and peppered with remnants of old cobblestone streets.  This little beauty did so well!  She slept the entire time and let me mold and maneuver her every which way I liked.  She even busted out a few smiles for me.  Mom and dad were as sweet as can be–thank you for making me feel so welcome and at home.  Enjoy!

The flower meaning for daisy is innocence, purity and beauty.  And what a fine summation for the dear baby girl named Daisy I photographed today.  Such a gorgeous one!  6 days old with a beautiful head of dark hair that takes after her daddy.  For the most part Daisy wanted to be awake but after feeding number two I finally got her like putty in my hands.  I love it when that happens!!  Thank you for your kindness–it was a pleasure spending the morning with you!  Enjoy! xo

I'm awake!

yep, still awake 😉

ahhhh, sweet slumber.

jessica - You are just beyond amazing with your newborn work. Photographing newborns is something that I literally cannot do. Tried it numerous time, actually, but I am just not good at it. I know how hard it is, how time consuming, and stressful it can be (for me anyway 😉 so I can really appreciate your photos. They just look so effortless, so soft, peaceful and beautiful. You never cease to add a smile to my face with your gorgeous photos. Beautiful work, as always. Jess.

It’s been raining.  A lot.  Sessions have been canceled and rescheduled with hopes that at some point this weather will play nice and cooperate.  During this down time I’ve had a moment to breath and catch up on everything I’ve been putting on the back burner.  Meanwhile, I’ve neglected my dear blog and I hope I haven’t disappointed too much with my absence.  It’s an exciting day–we have friends coming in from out of town and we’ll be spending it at our beach house which means we are officially kicking off our summer routine.  In the craziness of trying to pack for myself, 2 kids and the pooch I decided I had to run out and get some indoor activities since the weekend weather forecast leaves much to be desired.  I headed to Michael’s to pick up some small painters canvases in all different sizes, acrylic and watercolor paints, pads of watercolor paper, brushes in all different sizes plus lots of other little things to keep the kiddos (hopefully) busy.  My mom got me started on the small painter canvases.  I loved the instant artwork that was created.  Ready to frame or hang as is.  On the way, and everyday, we pass our lake.  Some mornings the fog is so thick it’s like a marshmallow topping.  The lake is quiet, pristine and beautiful.  Because I learned last year that I just needed to slow down and enjoy things I stopped with camera in hand and took some photos.  There is wisteria everywhere along the way.  So lovely–it’s purple flowers hanging daintily from the winding vines.  The last photo reminds me of a watercolor painting perhaps created with all the wonderful paints I picked up today.  Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend! xoxo

Christine DeSavino - My six year old brought me breakfast in bed…all on his own. A bowl of dry cereal followed by a peanut butter and jelly sandwich – with no crust! 🙂 Love it!

Josephine Casanova - Awww love this 🙂 We usually go to the cemetary and give our grandmothers that passed away flowers on mother’s day. It’s kind of sad but it also makes me feel good at the same time.

Oh Charlie Boy!  10 days, 5 pounds and 14 ounces–such a little nugget and only 2 days early!  Born to incredibly sweet and doting parents who have big plans and changes on the horizon.  This little guy didn’t really care for sleeping instead he wanted to take it all in with his big blue eyes.  When I did manage to get him to sleep, the moment I got about an inch from the blankets he would let me know that he’d much rather be held  🙂  It was a pleasure meeting you all including Grandma and Bubbe (great-grandma)!

oh hello bright eyes!!
