A preview of a commercial shoot I’m working on. More images to come!
The place where I spent 3 glorious weeks immersed full-throttle into an intensive language study upon arriving in Italy. The place where I ate gelato every single day and didn’t think twice about it. The place where I had journeyed to, by myself, for a semester in college. I can remember sitting in the piazza, the warm sun beating down on the cobblestones, pen in my hand writing letters to my mom still in disbelief that I was actually there. With a firm(er) grasp of the language I was then off to Firenze for the remainder of my time. I met Juliet, Elisa and Xanthe who became my roommates. We rented a fantastic apartment on Borgo Pinti. Top floor, 5 really, really loooong flights, but worth it when you reached the top. We had a spectacular 360 degree view of Florence from our roof deck. This made all the huffing and puffing worth it. Well, with all the ravioli rose and gelato I consumed it didn’t hurt to burn a few 😉 But I guess I’m just daydreaming a little. Siena is also the name of this beautiful girl I photographed last week. We met in the Public Gardens and made some music together. Somewhere faintly I think I hear some “Il Mio Bambino Caro”….but I guess that’s just me daydreaming again. Enjoy!
ahhh, Italy. Sounds like music to my ears! Beautiful photos of this little one (as usual)!
It sounds like Italy was pure perfection. Makes me wish I had “studied abroad” while I was still in school. I love these images and the little piano is just darling.
These are so lovely! The one with the bird is just astounding, but I think the third one is my absolutely favorite.
Just thinking of Italy makes me hungry for gelato. Yum…
Another really great set of images! Wonderful stuff!
Meet beautiful baby girl, Holly. Just 6 days old and a fabulous little sleeper. I met her big sis when she was 10 weeks old. Mom hadn’t thought to book her newborn session early enough but we gave it a go even though she was past the ideal newborn age of 7-10 days new. We actually got the best of both worlds; some good expressions and some precious sleeping shots. For those of you looking to book your newborn session, the ideal time is while you are still expecting. For more details just email or call anytime! (Note: I’ve gotten so many compliments on this purple hat. Unfortunately, the Etsy seller is not selling anymore as she is looking to spend more time with family. Sorry!) Hope you had a fabulous 4th!!! xoxo
Here is big sis at 10 weeks old…..
These are all lovely. I adore the photo with the blue wrap – the way her hand is positioned and her expression is just priceless!

This is a photograph I took on Cape Cod last summer and then and did some Photoshopping to make it look like a painting. I love it so much–I think I’ve found the new piece of original artwork for over our living room mantle! Thinking of getting it printed very large and on a gallery wrapped canvas!! I’ve seen the color palette done before on design blogs and think it’s lovely so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Just a little something different for the blog…what do you think? Still so, so much to blog…I got my office cleaned up and orders packaged so now I feel like I can breath again. Stay tuned for some really yummy images. xoxo
So, so love this!
Love the color palette as well as the idea to make it your living room mantel piece. It could really inspire the entire room and give it a terrific vibe.
Very cool! I would love it on a blue wall!
