Bellini Portraits » Bellini Portraits : Boston Newborn Photographer, Boston Children's Photographer, Boston Family Photographer, Boston Maternity Photographer

In September, on a crisp quintessential fall day in New England, I spent the afternoon with two beautiful little girls for a lifestyle shoot.  The sky was blue but was quickly overcome with gray clouds and I was almost certain we would be rained out.  We started inside and waited out the incoming weather.  In true New-England-weather fashion, there was no rain a-comin’ just some cotton ball clouds and brisk winds.  So, after we played inside in their kids kitchen, read books, jumped on beds/cribs, and told stories we ventured out for a little tour of historic Bunker Hill.  With a vintage camera in hand, the girls were local tourists, so to speak.  Four year old Maddie, full of energy from start to finish, twirled and twirled for me.  Parker, though she gave “good face” (oh whadda face!), definitely was the more subdued of the two, but her sister did finally get some good interaction at the end with Ring Around the Rosy.   Enjoy!  I did! 🙂

this one is sort of an outtake but I love that even a girl has a superhero cape….

LOVE everything!!! You are so talented!

Facebook has been such a blessing for my business.  It has brought my work to people all over the country and beyond.  Fellow photographer, Marci Yochum, reached out to me in August and I was thrilled and flattered that she wanted me to photograph her family.  They would be making the trip from New Jersey to spend an afternoon catching butterflies and playing at the beach.  Our first date had to be rescheduled due to Hurricane Irene which left us with no power for 4 looong days.  But our rescheduled date was so beautiful!  To start we had a mix of moody clouds which then broke into clear, bright blue skies.  We ended with a gorgeous sunset at my favorite field.  These photos were also to celebrate her 10 year anniversary with her handsome husband.  I am really loving these shots of them together!!   Enjoy!  xoxo

and we’re off to the field……

Sandy Metcalf - Gosh your work is beautiful. It’s like looking at a daydream, except it’s real!

I so enjoyed this session with beautiful Isabella.  This was our 3rd session together and it was amazing to see how much she’s grown and completely lost her shyness.  I created a pretty magical scenario for her; a cozy layered bed, birds, butterflies and books.  Her imagination ran wild and I loved capturing the soft moments when her sillyness was at bay and the quiet beauty of her bright winged friends took her over.  Many more images of mom, dad and brothers but for now a slathering of whimsical, girly-girl images.  Enjoy!  xoxo

and a sneak peek of mom and dad….

megan elle - Great set-up, beautiful light. Her eyes are amazing.

There’s nothing quite like Cape Cod in the summertime.  If you’ve not been I really do encourage you to come.  Dunes, sea grass, amazing sunrises and sunsets, old historical clapboard homes, lobsters, tide swings, whales cresting…it’s pretty idyllic.  In an effort to catch up with my blogging I will start with this session from August shot in Orelans, MA.  Where is Orleans?  Think of it as the inner “elbow” of Cape Cod.  About 90 minutes from  Boston and another 30 and you’re in P-town.  Loved this session with Grady and Charlotte.  What a story teller he was and after a nap “Poppy” (Grady’s name for his little sis and hence the family’s nickname for her) was ready to have some fun!  Enjoy! xoxox
