Christmas photos in February?  I know, I know–it’s kinda hard to take considering we are so close to spring that a reminder of winter is really not what we are looking for.  However, this shoot I did back in November for Charlie’s holiday card really just warms your heart.  It was an unseasonably mild day which is always nice for us New England photographers as it just extends our outdoor shooting season.  What little boy wouldn’t love a scene like this?  A mock camp fire, tent and a cup of cocoa topped with whipped cream?  Love this idea?  Well, we can plan on it this coming fall!  Enjoy!

It’s SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!  I’m not normally a big sports fan but I am today!  Not only is a great day to be rooting for our hometown team, the New England Patriots, it’s gonna be a fun filled day spent with great friends and family.  On top of that I have a line up of yummy appetizers that I wanted to share with you!  Loads of other yummies coming via said family & friends.  I will be sure to photograph and share before they are all gone! What are you making today?

For fun, I’ve posted some images below that I shot 4 years ago (2/9/08) with some editing.  Coming originally from a film background, during the 1st year and early 2nd year in business I didn’t really use Photoshop to process my digital images (gasp) and presented many SOOC (double gasp),  some with only slight levels adjustments.   What you shot with film is what you got.  Well, since then I have spent hundreds of hours on forums, thousands on workshops and continue to educate myself–daily.  What better way to improve your images than from somebody you trust?  I wish I had the plethora of resources 5 years ago that are readily available for all of you new, aspiring photographers.  Take advantage and join me in March.  Hope to see you there!
