A little boudoir maternity for ya on this dark and dreary day.  I love a woman who is confident with her body.  We did a series of nudes as well that I totally love but I can’t share those with the entire world so these will have to do!  Dad to be met up with us towards the end of the shoot for the field shots.  It wasn’t more than 5 minutes before their dog found a pile of pooh to roll around in. Luckily I got a shot of him before he was no longer “camera ready” 🙂  More of this beautiful family and their baby girl Stella to come!  Enjoy! xo

Hope you all had an amazing Labor Day weekend. I love watching families grow.  I photographed William’s big sis when she was 3 months old, his other big sister when she was a newborn, his momma when he was in her belly and then again when sweet baby William arrived.  I feel lucky to be a part of my client’s lives and blessed to know that they truly value my work. xoxo

    Ruthie - What a wonderful session! The lighting, the color, the family– all magic.

    I esp. love the middle picture of the sleeping newborn. It reminds me of a mermaid.

    I’m curious about the bottles filled with sand on the shelf. Any idea the story behind the bottles? Are they collected from different beaches that they’ve visited as a family? Any idea where the mom got those bottles? I’m thinking of doing something similar for our various beach vacations.

If you are a Massachusetts resident then there is a very good chance you recognize this beauty.  Back in April I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Sara Underwood for a story in Baystate Parent Magazine that hit the stands in June.  Sara was a Fox 25 News anchor until the birth of her second daughter last year.  She decided to leave her job to spend more time with her girls.  I had a blast meeting them and getting an inside look on their relationship and the bond they share.
