There have been many times here on my blog that I refer to my tiny clients as “angel babies”.  Even writing that now my heart aches, tears well, and a wave of so many emotions run through me.  I think, of course, of the lives that were so senselessly and brutally taken on Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  I, like many, have been reeling since then, with thoughts of  “what if this was our child”.  A pain that is unimaginable and unbearable.  To even go there in your mind makes your insides feel like they’ve dropped to your feet, every last hair on your body stand on end, an undending sadness that could swallow you up whole.  My heart goes out to all of those families involved who lost a loved one.  Those children are true angel babies now.

And, sent by heaven, another couple is blessed with their own angel.  So peaceful.  So loved.  So safe in their arms.  The love that emanates is also so palpable.  So beautiful.  So powerful.  Hold her close.

Everyone, hold yours close and tell them how much you love them.
