Doesn’t get much cuter than a little girl in a vintage swim suit with bubbles floating around her!  It screams SUMMER!  I am really looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new clients throughout the coming months.  I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and let you know I have limited availability left for summer beach or field sessions.  I have a few dates left in July and August.  If you’d like to secure a date before the kiddos head back to school (what!!!) now’s the time to email or call to set up your family beach portrait session.

No matter how many times I crave those super sun soaked days, for beach sessions the more clouds the better.  The light for this shoot was in-cred-ible.  Just wow.  The perfect amount of cloud cover with blue still peeking through but enough to filter out any harsh light.  The result was jaw dropping.  The sky reminds me of a painting {swooooon}.  You can’t plan for this but when it comes together so beautifully my clients are very aware during the shoot just how ecstatic I am. 🙂

Ok, can we talk about this little boy’s lashes??  They are to DIE for!  3D Lash, they got nuttin on him!  He is bound to steal many hearts along the way and with that sugar sweet gaze–he surely stole mine!

I love it when it all comes together.  Synergy.

Enthusiasm from photographer coupled with client’s energy, effort and excitement for session equals a beautiful, seamless shoot.  That was a lot of E’s.

I LOVED photographing Averie.  She was beautiful, beaming, funny and such a joy to be around.  Top it off with being so incredibly photogenic and having the prettiest clothing options for her maternity session and I was one happy lady!  Louis, her French bull dog, joined us for a few shots but he really wasn’t feeling it that day 😉  And, even though hubbies aren’t that involved in maternity sessions, he had a good time and I *think* even enjoyed himself.  I saw them 6 short weeks later when Baby Vin decided to join the world four weeks early.  Nothing like keeping newbie parents on their toes!

It feels odd to post fall sessions when we are just really getting out from under the weighty sheath of winter and beginning to see signs of summer.  We’ve been teased with hot days and pulled back to reality with much cooler seasonal days.  Like today–cool, damp and truly representative of a New England spring day.  It is so hard to believe we are in June and with that I look toward my busy fall season and what will be on tap.  While I will not in any way rush the summer days away, it’s important to keep in mind that they will fly by and before ya know it clients will be clamoring for those quintessential fall sessions. 

This fall family session was photographed last October.  If you have little ones and the weather is chilly, we can do a beautiful lifestyle portion inside your home and then scoot outdoors to capture the beautiful fall foliage.  As with any session, we will discuss wardrobe options so that everything flows seamlessly from one “scenario” to the next.  True for all colder weather sessions, layering is key!  Nobody wants to see bulky overcoats and we can keep the little ones warm by layering lots of cozy yet appealing options.

If you follow my blog you will recognize this pretty lady from the last session I blogged below.  I was ready to post these beach images and realized I never shared her lovely maternity session so before sharing I wanted to get those up first.  Fast forward a year and we met again last October to capture some of her handsome baby boy’s 1 year portraits.

If you are an existing Bellini client, you should have received a newsletter from me over the weekend announcing September beach mini session dates.  If you missed it, make sure to check back as the first date has only one slot left!  I am undecided on whether or not I will offer any other fall/holiday minis but if I do you will find out first via the newsletter and again will be first come first serve to those who have booked full sessions in the past.  Summer dates are starting to fill.  If you are interested in booking your own beach portrait session don’t hesitate to call or email anytime for details!!
