It's been a crazy couple of days getting caught up on work…I was up til after midnight last night {yawn}. In my last post I talked about my trip to NH and shooting with my niece and nephews. These first few shots are from Saturday–same spot that I took Rachel's shots in the red dress.
My husband and I headed to NH this weekend with our son and dog (of course!) to visit my family. I was originally supposed to do a shoot for a family with two young girls but that had to be postponed so I took the time to do a fun shoot with my niece and nephews. I had some fun ideas in mind and thought it would be fun to "style" the session as well as shoot it. Unfortunately, I didn't find what I was looking for in the boys department but put together this very cool outfit (in my opinion) and used an old suitcase prop I have. We headed out in search of a location with cool textures and came across a run down barn not too far from my sisters house. Here are some of my favorite shots of Rachel.

Love the outfit, the beanie, it’s all so cute and fun to spice up a session! Also think you did a great job of finding that perfect light..
About a month ago, I posted "37 weeks and counting…" which highlighted my second ever maternity shoot. Well, today I had the pleasure of following up with the much anticipated newborn shoot. Elena Grace is finally here–and exactly on her due date! Most newborns will eat and then sleep, which is what we had hoped would happen for the shoot but Elena had other ideas. She didn't sleep the entire 3 hour shoot, save for a few seconds when I nestled her into the sheepskin rug–what can I tell ya, the girl likes fur! I couldn't get over how alert she was–and the cutest little nugget to boot! Here are my favorites from today.

Love them all and that one on top of the chest of draws, in the wicker basket, is so special; a real winner.

Wow! She is one of the most beautiful newborns I have ever seen! Gorgeous images, Steph. Breathtaking.
It was a relatively quiet day at Camp Piscitelli today. No shoots. No plans. Nothing really to do except EMBRACE THE SUN that had finally come out after 3 straight days of rain and gloom! It was such a relief to be able to get outside with my son and enjoy the weather. He was asking for corn yesterday after eating baby corn out of our Thai food, so today we went to Neseralla's Farm and picked out some big, beautiful ears of butter & sugar corn and then sat on our steps and husked away. Here are some shots. I played with some textures in a couple for a vintage feel.

I miss you guys!
Ok people! Here's your chance to score a FREE session with me. I need you to get out YOUR cameras and start driving around your neighborhoods. Remember that beautiful park, scenic vista, busted down old barn, field of wild flowers, dilapidated abandoned home, or whatever it is you've driven by that has caught your eye? Well, I want to see it too. I am looking for great locations to use for my portrait shoots and will give the person who sends the "best" location, preferably with a signed agreement to use this location from the owner if applicable, a free portrait session**. Digital photos should be mailed to stephanie@bellinipics.com and the winner will be announced on this blog by October 6th!
This was shot at a home in Miami during a Homegoods photo shoot.

For “in Boston” outdoor photography, what about Christopher Columbus Park, on The Waterfront?
Check their website http://www.foccp.com
The grounds are constantly changing.
