My shoot today brought me out to Dennis (Cape Cod). I was greeted by two smiling blonde, blue eyed girls. I was told that they take about 10-15 minutes to really warm up to people they don’t know but I think I had them at “hello” 🙂 I come with bags and bags of tricks, you see–this time accessories. All I needed to say was “headbands” and they were both breathless with anticipation. They loved going through my accessory bag, each picking the one(s) they’d like to wear for our session. Too cute! We took a short stroll down took the beach which was so beautiful–and despite the fact that foreboding clouds were rolling in, the beach was still aflurry with people at 5pm. We lost about half of the crowd 30 minutes in when the sky started spitting–however we were brave and decidedly set on continuing with our shoot. The girls were still up for it….I mean I DID have more “stuff” for them to play with! So it cleared and we continued and we had a blast. But like everything, all good things come to an end. The girls were tired and I started losing them to yawns, eye-rubs and far away stares. That’s what the fresh air does to ya. We fit it all in just in time before the storm hit. My ride home was a bit scary at times and I felt like Mr. MgGoo hunched at the steering wheel, leaning in, squinty eyed trying to see through the wall of rain hitting my windshield. And all at once, it stopped and the sun was shining again. At home, my son saw his first rainbow! Just including a couple tonight–more to come this weekend!! It was great to meet you Piper & Brynn, and mom and dad too! Enjoy! xoxo
