What a better way to spend the last day of a long week than at the beach?! Yesterday I had a session with a beautiful family at the beach house. Sydney, 1 year, made me WORK for the smiles. Whew! Not only did I exhaust myself with silly noises and faces, peek-a-boos and the old stand by fake sneeze but even mom and dad ran through their entire silliness repertoire to get her to giggle. Dad had it down pat with his calisthenic stretching which pretty much put her over the edge every time. Who knew stretching could be so funny? 🙂 She was a good sport and made it though 5 outfit changes and dealt with brand new sensory experiences–prickly grass and slippery sand.
