Happy New Year!! It’s time for my third annual “Best Of” contest. It’s been fun going through my session folders choosing my favorite images of 2012. Now it’s your turn to cast your vote and let us know what you think.

[here are the rules]

1. Each individual person may vote for one photo, one time only. IP addresses will be tracked so please don’t be shady and try to vote more than that. Please and thanks :-)

2. To cast your vote, just leave me a comment in the comment section below. Please include your comment under this blog post “Best of 2012” and NOT within another blog post comment box. Comments left inadvertently under a different blog post will NOT be counted. Please identify by coordinating image number and image title.

I can’t help but recognize the instant relationship between an older sister and her baby sister as I have a similar photo of myself and my new baby sister from over 30 years ago that is still one of my most special and favorite images. Even under 2 years old, I remember meeting my new baby sister—the most important moment of my life at that point and for many years thereafter. I know that the beautiful older sister in that photo will feel the same way about this image many decades to come. Luckily, their moment was captured by an artist! I would love a chance for you to photograph my son. Beautiful work overall!

Hello all! Hoping you had a fantastic holiday! Not only did Santa visit our home on Christmas morn’, so did the dastardly FLU! Came on fierce and out of nowhere! My poor little man didn’t even want to open any presents and is just starting to eat, drink and be merry again. It’s been crazy around here for the past few weeks and this mommy is thinking about warm weather and some quiet time. With that in mind I threw out a question on my Facebook business page this morning: What’s your favorite island destination and why? I’ve gotten some great responses and it got my mind wandering here and there today, and out of my own chaotic mind and this freezing cold New England weather.
