august and benjamin

Happy New Year to you all!  And what a better way to kick off the new year than a session with beautiful twin boys!  I was greeted by their radiant mama and two very curious Chihuahuas.  After 4 trips in with all of my “junk” I stopped, took a deep breath (the Christmas tree still so beautifully fragrant) and got a first look at my little subjects.  Born on December 8th, 3 weeks before their due date, they are still little nuggets at 5 and 6 pounds each.  So dear!!  These guys, at the ripe ol’ age of 4 weeks, are party animals already:-) They did not want to sleep a wink, except for Benjamin assuaging me for a mere few minutes at the very beginning of our session.  And I really mean a few minutes.  Nope, they didn’t want to sleep.  They just wanted to take it all in with their big, curious eyes.  I’m sure as soon as I left they conked out for hours.  And I hope that mom did finally utilize that down time to get some much needed rest.  Enjoy!  xoxo

Stephanie you really did make lemonade out of lemons! I’m so pleased with how the photos turned out despite my “party animals” lack of cooperation. Its a real testimony to your patience and talent!
