Yesterday was the big reveal for Kiki’s new line for The Measure. It’s pretty special and I’m proud to say that my images are gracing her Etsy store in grand fashion! The evening I scheduled the shoot turned out to be a wash. As soon as I got the girls hair curled and their energetic little bodies dressed and to the location, we literally had about 15 minutes of shooting before the sky was erupting in thunder and lighting and then literlly opened up on us. It was ok because the shots I did manage to squeak in turned out great and I kinda like the moodiness that the backdrop offered for some images–much different than the sun washed look we are all used to seeing. Sophia & Adrianna, the fabulous models, really fit the bill for me. I had a vision of shooting with red-head twins from the get-go, contacted an agency I actually used to work for when I moved to Boston way back when, and they just happened to sign these two the day before.
