I called my client this morning on my way to Boston to go over some logistics for our newborn shoot. I realized that her name wasn’t revealed once the family emailed to let me know that she had finally arrived on July 1st. I was so surprised to hear her name…which is my son’s name…and the best name in the entire world! Proud mama here, what can I say Anyway, my hope 3 years ago and still is that the name doesn’t become too popular—but time will tell. My gut tells me it’s gonna spread like the “Aidan” wildfire! Anyway, this 5 day old little beauty was conked out in her grandmother’s arms when I arrived at their lovely Beacon Hill abode; beautifully appointed and a shag rug to die for. I WILL be getting that for our new house, for sure! I have to say that this new mom was the most laid back 1st time mommy I’ve ever worked with–I might add that she also climbed Kilimanjaro last year as well. Pretty impressive. The little one took some time falling into a deep sleep over the 3 hours I spent with her but she did finally go into the “drunk on breast milk” stage and I managed some great propped shots! Here’s a peak!
