This mamapreneur feature is long overdue.  I’ve known Hadley for over 3 years now.  I photographed her newborn son, Jason, when he was just a couple of weeks old in early 2009.  Since then we have stayed in touch via Facebook and I have followed her journey through motherhood and entrepreneurship all the while.  She...

Your work always amazes me!! You do magic with light!! I love how safely you pose your newborns.:))) How do you always find these great clients with beautiful homes? ;) By the way, what lens did you use for this session?

Ruthie - September 4, 2012 - 11:35 am

What a wonderful session! The lighting, the color, the family– all magic.

I esp. love the middle picture of the sleeping newborn. It reminds me of a mermaid.

I’m curious about the bottles filled with sand on the shelf. Any idea the story behind the bottles? Are they collected from different beaches that they’ve visited as a family? Any idea where the mom got those bottles? I’m thinking of doing something similar for our various beach vacations.

sara and her girls

If you are a Massachusetts resident then there is a very good chance you recognize this beauty.  Back in April I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Sara Underwood for a story in Baystate Parent Magazine that hit the stands in June.  Sara was a Fox 25 News anchor until the birth of her...

mercury rising : boston baby portraits

Lil’ bro to the sweety posted below!  I always feel the best state of mind is to let a shoot happen naturally without any preconceived notions.  Every child, location, lighting situation will never be the same as the next.  The more relaxed you are and let your kids be kids, the more organic and free...

enchantment : boston childrens portraits

As many of my readers know I am always talking about how I’d love to have a little girl of my own.  I suppose in the beginning, a very long time ago, when I decided I would have 3 girls–even before I was married and before my own children were even a twinkle in my...

Sophie - August 7, 2012 - 8:45 pm

WOW. The light is magical, and she couldn’t possibly be any cuter!!

Tavia - July 25, 2012 - 11:26 pm

So incredibly gorgeous!!! I love the one with the pups tail!! You are so good with light!!!!

Taryn Boyd - July 25, 2012 - 10:12 pm

I feel the same exact way. I always imagined myself with a little girl to have the type of relationship I have with my own mother but I too have 2 (most perfect) little boys and couldn’t imagine it now any other way. But there is something magical about being a little girl, like we once were; and you captured that so perfectly in these portraits….as always. x

laura - July 25, 2012 - 8:43 pm

Oh wow…these are just so dreamy and PERFECT!
