For fun, I’ve posted some images below that I shot 4 years ago (2/9/08) with some editing. Coming originally from a film background, during the 1st year and early 2nd year in business I didn’t really use Photoshop to process my digital images (gasp) and presented many SOOC (double gasp), some with only slight levels adjustments. What you shot with film is what you got. Well, since then I have spent hundreds of hours on forums, thousands on workshops and continue to educate myself–daily. What better way to improve your images than from somebody you trust? I wish I had the plethora of resources 5 years ago that are readily available for all of you new, aspiring photographers. bella times two…

…and soon to be three! Those of you who follow my blog will recognize these two beauties! Nina, 18 months, I lovingly referred to as “Bella Nina” for her newborn blog post and the name has stuck ever since. This is the fourth time they have graced my blog and soon to be five when mama delivers baby #2 any day now! I am soooo excited to meet Nina’s baby brother or sister! If she is anything like her momma and sis she will be stunning or HE will undoubtedly be as dashing as dad! Yes, goddesses do walk among us mere mortals. Proof is in these images below. Yet another uber-fabulous expecting mama! Lucky me Enjoy!

I’ve said it a kazillion times before but I truly love my job! I love seeing my little clients sprout and their families grow. I photographed this handsome boy when he was 8 days old, two and a half years ago and again 14 months later. I was so thrilled when mom emailed to say she was pregnant and due with a baby girl this past fall. Yeah! More hats and headbands to play with!! But I had some fun with big brother while little sis took a break to eat and get changed. I could not get over how into guitar he was, and how accurate his still-baby hands can manipulate those strings. Check it out! Enjoy! xoxo
