Just over 6 pounds and 8 days old! Took a bit for her to really settle into the shoot but when she did it was magic! I have to tell you I love these hot and humid days if only to get my newborn clients outdoors and like baby putty in my hands! By the time we made it outside she was in heaven! Bare skin, warm breeze, birds chirping. I think she could have slept out there all afternoon, but alas, Pasquale arrived to do the landscaping so our outdoor session came to end–beautifully. I was a pleasure meeting you Andrea and your lovely family! Enjoy! xo

Meet Alex, 7 days old. Beautiful. Tiny. So precious. I did a session with her big sis (18 months older) last year. I was so happy to hear from mom last week asking to do this newborn session, and surprised to hear that another munchkin would be joining their family. We shot at their home; a stunning 130 year old colonial with huge welcoming rooms. I ooh’ed and ahh’ed over it all. I’m just a sucker for old homes with all those details; built-in’s, walk-in’s, the huge windows, the intricate moldings… It’s a beauty, for sure. I really wanted to take pictures of the interior but I figured they would have thought that was pretty creepy Anyway, I used some of the same blankets/wraps that I used for her sister and thought it’d be cool to shoot them with Alex. Also a 4-up just like big sis too! Enjoy! xoxo

Meet Cooper. I was scheduled to do his session mid-June but he decided to really surprise mom and dad and made an appearance 6 weeks early! Even though he’s a preemie, he was still a good size at 2+ weeks today weighing in at 6 lbs 11 oz. Maybe it’s a good thing he came early!! He was a total dream. He slept the entire time all the while making his signature squeeks and grunts. Lucky for us the weather was fabulous so even though I wasn’t able to get my outdoor shots with the newborn session on Monday, I was able to get out there today and I am soooo happy we did. Another big thanks to my mom who is always on the look-out for great props for me (the rocking duck rules!). Enjoy! xo
