Christmas photos in February? I know, I know–it’s kinda hard to take considering we are so close to spring that a reminder of winter is really not what we are looking for. However, this shoot I did back in November for Charlie’s holiday card really just warms your heart. It was an unseasonably mild day which is always nice for us New England photographers as it just extends our outdoor shooting season. What little boy wouldn’t love a scene like this? A mock camp fire, tent and a cup of cocoa topped with whipped cream? Love this idea? Well, we can plan on it this coming fall! Enjoy!

This little Irish beauty has perfected what Tyra coined the “smyse” (smiling with your eyes). I’m embarrassed to even say that but it’s amazing how you can change your expression with just a little emphasis on your eyes. They are the window to your soul so open up and let it shine! I really love playful sessions like this! Yes, I told mom to let her stay in her PJ’s while we played a bit to start off the shoot. I love having kids get really silly and most of all letting them feel at ease and comfortable from the get-go. I’ve been working with this family since her 1st birthday and now with 4 shoots under her pink sequined belt she celebrated the big F-O-U-R in November. Looking forward to #5! Enjoy! xoxo

baby blair and big bro

I’ve said it a kazillion times before but I truly love my job! I love seeing my little clients sprout and their families grow. I photographed this handsome boy when he was 8 days old, two and a half years ago and again 14 months later. I was so thrilled when mom emailed to say she was pregnant and due with a baby girl this past fall. Yeah! More hats and headbands to play with!! But I had some fun with big brother while little sis took a break to eat and get changed. I could not get over how into guitar he was, and how accurate his still-baby hands can manipulate those strings. Check it out! Enjoy! xoxo
