Did you know I used to have a New York accent? How’s that for a random bit of useless information? Yep, I grew up partly in New York (Long Island), a few years in Florida and for the most part in Vermont. I remember my first day of 5th grade in Vermont, all the little faces turned towards me asking me to say different words like “coffee”, “car”, whatever would get a good chuckle. See, but I remember everyone ELSE having the accent, not me!
I was also terrified of moving to Vermont because I had the notion that everyone wore overalls and lived on farms. But that’s when I was 9 going on 10. Through Facebook, I’ve reconnected with some old friends from high school. My client today was one of those people. She’s been following my work and actually drove all the way from upstate New York for our session. Her daughter and my son immediately hit it off and we came to find out that they are only 2 days apart! I think my son was totally smitten with her. He has a thing for blondes, I’m pretty sure of that now
Anyway, Ms. Taylor was full of personality today and I absolutely loved it. Talk about spunk and charisma! The girl has got it going on!! Hope you guys had a great dinner and made it home safe and sound. Enjoy!
