Session three with my bambino!  I must say that it’s pretty convenient having a newborn at my disposal so whenever the mood strikes I can break out the 5D and start snapping away.  These shots are from Saturday when he turned 3 weeks old.  I can’t believe how fast time flies and how big he is getting.  Normally I do not do newborn sessions if a baby is older than 14 days old.  They lose their flexibility, ability to stay in curled positions, sleep less soundly and sometimes we can run into problems with baby acne.  This little guy had such a bad case of acne for almost two solid weeks but by the time I did this session it was almost all cleared up.  Thanks to a little help from my friend Photoshop, you would never know!  I have to give credit for the banana leaf shot to my husband.  He has been literally begging me since he was born to use one of the leaves from our banana tree in some way for a shot.  It didn’t roll up like we both had planned so I improvised and just wrapped it up around him.  Let me know what you think, leave a comment so we can make him feel good ;-)
