Literally. In Love.

I know I’m not alone as a photographer when I say that my hardest subject is my own child.  I don’t know if it’s because he’s had a camera in his face since the day he was born or if he’s just like his mom and just doesn’t like his picture taken.  I couldn’t be...

Just beautiful shots of Grayson!

Channeling Poppins.

I was booked for an extended family shoot today; 5 kids and 9 adults.  The family was coming together this weekend to celebrate a birthday and since they would all be together it would have been an opportune time to score some shots as a family.  I guess the party went a little late last night (ahem)...

A bunch of cuties, for sure. And I DO see the Finn resemblance in that last one. ;-)

Christine DeSavino - October 11, 2009 - 7:45 pm

These are fantastic! What a perfect group shot of the cousins!! The individuals are stunning as well. Or should I say….SUPERCALIFRAGILISITC….? you know the rest! :)

Last shot first.

People always comment on how patient I am on shoots.  It’s funny, because for the most part I’m the most impatient person I know!  But when it comes to photographing children, patience is a must!  You don’t always get your best shots in the beginning and your shoots don’t just take an hour.  Generally they...

Awesome photos Stephanie! I love the photo of the boy with his mom in the field! I need to have a head shot done of myself and would like something like this but in the seagrass maybe. It would be for my displays advertising etc. Can you email me a price list.

Aleza - October 5, 2009 - 9:38 pm

Well, I was going to say I so totally agree that the first posted is my fave and then I saw the last one. The light, the kiss with mama, the PP is divine – I am really moved by it. Just beautiful!!!

Michelle Henrick - October 5, 2009 - 9:12 pm

Here’s some blog love for you…those are adorable! I too love the last shot. I notice that the last half an hour is always the best. I often wonder what others do on their shoots with children to get them looking so cute and natural. Glad to know you do lots of bribing as well. I had one yesterday where bribing was a must…a definite must!
